For waxing to be effective, you generally need at least 1/4 inch of hair, roughly the length of a grain of rice. That length lets the wax grip the hair and pulls it from the root. That’s about 2 weeks of hair growth.

You can absolutely get waxed or sugared on your period. I recommend inserting a fresh tampon or disc/cup. The service maybe a more uncomfortable experience, taking Tylenol 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment can help with discomfort.

At Nectar & Nude we require 24hr notice for all cancellations and rescheduling. Failure to do so will result in a 50% charge of the scheduled service. No call no shows will also result in a 50% charge of the scheduled service.

I prefer no extra guest in my suite. However, I understand that being a parent is hard when trying to find childcare. That being said children are allowed I just ask for some communication and consideration of my space.
